Q: How do I register?
A. AcidImage software is free to try for a limited number of days. If you would like to purchase a full version that will not expire, you can register your AcidImage software by purchasing a 14-digit UnlockCode
at the AcidImage online store. After you submit your order online, you will receive your UnlockCode via email.
There are never any shipping or handling charges on any AcidImage products. All products can be downloaded directly from the AcidImage website. An UnlockCode will be emailed to you within an hour of your order. If you don't receive an UnlockCode, and you think you should have, try the UnlockCode Wizard or, contact support@acid-image.com.
Q: How do I upgrade to the next level?
A. Registered users of AcidImage Basic and AcidImage (standard version) can upgrade to AcidImage or AcidImage Pro for a reduced price. Information on upgrading your registered copy of AcidImage is available here.
Q: How do I purchase AcidImage software?
A: AcidImage software is distributed electronically. You can download the software from the AcidImage website and purchase an UnlockCode that will Unlock AcidImage.
If you have the software installed on your handheld, find the RegID on the Register screen. There is a place on the order form to enter it. If you don't have a trial version installed, find your HotSync name and enter that on the order form instead. A few minutes after you submit your order, your UnlockCode will arrive via email along with instructions on how to enter it.
Q: I can't find the Register screen! Where is it?
A: To find the Register screen, start AcidImage on your handheld. Then tap the Register button at the top right-hand corner of the screen. Here's a diagram showing you where the Register button is.
If you don't see a Register button, your copy has been successfully registered.
Q: Can I get a refund?
A: If you have any problems with your order, or if you are not completely satisfied, please email us at support@acid-image.com.
If we can't make you happy, we'll gladly refund your money. Just ask. We will be unable to offer refunds 30 or more days after a purchase is made, however.
If you ever feel that your credit card has been charged incorrectly, please let us know and we will fix the problem right away.
Q: What is a RegID?
A: A RegID is a 16-digit code that looks like this: A2:1F:92:71:51:69:92:51. You can find yours on the Register screen of AcidImage. Note that if you are buying more than one copy of AcidImage, each copy will have a different RegID.
Q: What is an UnlockCode?
A: Your UnlockCode is a 14-digit code that looks like this: 3981 12C9 A4. After you purchase AcidImage software, you will receive an UnlockCode via email within a few minutes of ordering. Enter this code on the Register screen of the AcidImage. This is a one time registration and it will not expire.
If you are a registered user and need a new UnlockCode, the UnlockCode Wizard can help.
Q: How do I install AcidImage software on my Palm?
A: Find the Download link. Download the ".prc" file. Save it somewhere on your desktop PC. Use Palm Install Tool to install the .prc file (usually you can just double-click the .prc file to install it).
Q. I registered but I still haven't received my UnlockCode.
A. Sometimes our email gets eaten by the Internet, especially if you are using a hotmail account or an anti-spam program. Try the UnlockCode Wizard or, send us the following information and we'll send you your UnlockCode.
- Your name
- The product name
- The 16-digit RegID from the Register screen (after upgrading)
- Your HotSync name
- Your order number, or the email address you provided at the time of purchase

Q: How do I order multiple copies?
A: You can submit an order for multiple copies of the same product through the AcidImage online store.
Enter the number of copies you would like to purchase in the quantity field and click the "Update Quantities" button. The order form will update to reflect the number of copies you are purchasing. There will be a space for the HotSync name and RegID for each copy.
Multi-user License Packs (see next question) are available starting with the 50 user package, we can process your order over the phone. Please call us directly at +1 847-498-1600.

Q: What is a License Pack?
A: License Packs consist of 50 or more licenses of AcidImage Pro. A License Pack is a quick and convenient way to purchase and activate the registration license across your organization.

Q. Is there some way to fix UnlockCode problems online?
A. If you have any problems with your UnlockCode, or if you never received your UnlockCode, first try the UnlockCode Wizard. It is designed to solve all UnlockCode problems quickly and easily.
Q. I lost my original UnlockCode. What do I do?
A. First try the UnlockCode Wizard, it can probably find your UnlockCodes for you.
If not, make sure you have the latest version of your application installed, and send an email to support@red-mercury.com with the following information to help us locate your original order.
- Your name
- The product name
- Your 16-digit RegID from the Register screen
- Your HotSync name

Q. My current UnlockCode is invalid. How do I get a new one?
A. First try the UnlockCode Wizard, it can probably fix your UnlockCode for you.
If not, make sure you have the latest version of your application installed, and send an email to support@red-mercury.com with the following information to help us locate your original order and create a new UnlockCode for you.
- Your name
- The product name
- Your 16-digit RegID from the Register screen

Q. I beamed AcidImage to my wife, why won't the UnlockCode work for her?
A. Our products are sold on a per-device basis. You receive an UnlockCode that will only work on your Palm. The intention of this is to sell our products on a per-person basis. In the case of you and your wife, we would ask that you both purchase UnlockCodes. If one person has two devices that they use themselves, we usually will issue a second UnlockCode for that person.
